DONALD BROWN
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BAY SPRINGS
On July 1st, 2021 Donald Brown became the new mayor of the City of Bay Springs, Mississippi. Prior to his election, he served as the Maintenance Superintendent for the City. Mayor Brown and the Bay Springs Board of Aldermen seeks to continue to on-going city improvements and additions. As the new mayor he strives to continue to have a thriving business and industrial community.

WARD 1
STEVE BRELAND
Steve Breland has served the citizens of Ward One for 28 years since being elected in July, 1993.
WARD 2
MIKE LUCAS
Mike Lucas has served the citizens of Ward Two since his election in July, 1997. Prior to being elected an Alderman, Lucas served the community as its Fire Chief for ten years.
WARD 3
JAMES KNOTTS
James A. Knotts was elected in 2017 as Alderman of Ward 3 for the citizens of the City Bay Springs.
Jimmy Knotts, currently works part time with Hol-Mac Corporation, employed as a rehired retiree after 37 years in several different full time positions with the Company.
For 23 years, James has served the citizens of Bay Springs and Jasper County in an appointed Board Trustee position for Jasper General Hospital and Nursing Home.
WARD 4
RON KEYES
Ron Keyes was elected to serve the citizens of Ward Four in 2013.
WARD 5 - Pro Tempore
BOB COOK
Bob Cook was elected to serve the citizens in Ward Five in 1985 and is now in his ninth term of office. He is the Mayor Pro Tempore, elected by the current board.

Joseph Sims has served the citizens of
Bay Springs 4 years since being elected.

MUNICIPAL JUDGE
MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS
City of Bay Springs Board Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm. If you have a matter to bring before the board, please contact our city clerk in advance of meeting at 601-764-4112.
Municipal Court is held on the 1st Monday of each month, at 9:00 am at the Jasper County Courthouse.
