Bay Springs was incorporated on March/10/1904. Elevation is 400 feet and the land area is 14.8 square miles. Population as of 2010 was 1,796. Bay Springs is located in Jasper County, the #1 gas and oil producing county in Mississippi

Committee chairmen for the Bay Springs Chamber of Commerce 2nd annual art show wrap up plans for the show which will be held this year at the Bay Springs United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 12, from 2-5 pm.
